As a resident of Heritage Place, you will enjoy a supported, independent lifestyle in a diverse, welcoming & respectful community environment. Our professional, caring team is dedicated to honoring your dignity and autonomy as you age with grace in elegant surroundings. Home makers are on duty 11 am to 7 pm and available via emergency pager 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our General Manager is on site 5 days a week, maintaining the highest standards of performance and service.
Inspired by the Abbyfield concept, each of our houses boasts nine private, ground level suites, encircling a central common area. A light-filled, west coast design & smaller house capacities create a friendly, home-style environment - a welcome alternative to the institutional feel of many larger complexes.
Heritage Place gardens and pathways are beautifully landscaped & wind through the property, providing plenty of walking space to help you keep fit. For your convenience, pathways provide easy access to neighboring Senior Services Society, Lady Minto Hospital, Lions Club, Medical Offices & shopping at Upper Ganges Centre right across the street. A walk to Ganges brings you to a quaint village of shops & galleries plus, enjoy easy beach access from many points on the island.
Nature lovers are inspired by our resident wildlife, including deer, rabbits, owls, hummingbirds and more. Bird feeders are welcome & the gardener in you will enjoy being able to grow potted plants on your private patio. Heritage Place is a pet friendly community, with certain restrictions.

Guests are welcome, and our beautifully appointed Hospitality Suite is available at a competitive rate for visitors over age 65, as well as for guests of our residents - at any age.
